😱😢 Epcot’s map has changed
Well, we knew change was coming, but it’s still sad to see it go. At this year’s D23 Expo, Disney shared a complete re-imagining of Epcot – and while a little different than Walt’s vision – it’s still amazing.
However, to get to the future that the Imagineers have in vision, some major changes have already begun. The Leave a Legacy pillars are now almost all removed – and now, they’ve updated the Epcot map to remove the Fountain of Nations.
Developed by the same engineers who built the fountains at the Bellagio in Las Vegas, the Fountain of Nations was dedicated on opening day at Epcot where individuals from 23 different countries brought water from their origin country and poured into the fountain.
Also being removed is Club Cool and the air-conditioned pathway that was Innoventions West. However, with these changes new attractions are coming including a Guardians of the Galaxy coaster, a new space-themed table service restaurant to open by the end of 2019, a new trackless dark ride based on the film Ratatouille and new fireworks experiences.
